The Artist in Balance: Technology, Development, Body

10:00 – “Ecological Production of Cultural Events”
Speaker: Artur Malke
Sustainable development in culture – can music be “eco”?
A panel discussion on environmentally responsible approaches to organizing cultural events and how to make “eco” also “logical.” We will explore key areas of sustainability such as inclusivity, digitalization, and carbon footprint, translating them into the language of culture.

11:00 – “AI in Artist Promotion”
Speaker: Wojciech Hazanowicz
Artificial intelligence is entering rehearsal rooms, studios, and editing suites. What does this mean for classical music and professional artists?
This lecture will cover practical examples of using AI in video production and education (without training on third-party recordings), the difference between “generative AI” and “symbolic AI,” and when AI truly becomes helpful. Instead of grand promises, we focus on concrete applications: where AI saves time and budget, and where craftsmanship, interpretation, and the sound of live performance still prevail. We will look for balance in terms of consent, authorship, and remuneration—highlighting tools that support artists rather than replace them

12:00 – “Psychology of the Stage” – The Alexander Technique on and off Stage
Speaker: Magdalena Kędzior
How can excellent technique be combined with authentic expression and ease on stage?
This lecture focuses on key skills of the 21st-century artist: conscious control of one’s technique, full presence in performance, and openness to creative impulse. We will discuss how the Alexander Technique supports balance between control and freedom, enabling lightness and naturalness in dynamic stage conditions. Core principles of the method—such as awareness, the strategic pause, and directions and means-whereby—will be explored as foundations for naturalness, ease, and genuine artistic power.

13:00 – Feldenkrais Method Practical Workshop
Instructor: Agnieszka Henke

Feldenkrais Method Workshops for Singers (ATM)
Singers, vocalists, and voice teachers are invited to participate in workshops based on ATM (Awareness Through Movement®) lessons of the Feldenkrais Method—a subtle and effective approach to working with the body, movement, and awareness.

During the workshop, participants will:

  • discover how mindful movement can release tensions that limit the voice,
  • deepen their connection with breath,
  • learn to recognize and change habitual movement patterns,
  • experience how less effort can bring greater results, improving vocal sound and singing comfort.

The Feldenkrais Method develops body awareness, coordination, and ease of action. It is particularly valuable for professional voice users who wish to sing with greater freedom, confidence, and expressiveness—without strain.

🔹 No prior experience with the Feldenkrais Method is required.
🔹 Please wear comfortable clothing – most of the session takes place lying down or seated, at a gentle pace.
